The 11th ACM SIGGRAPH Conference and Exhibition on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques in Asia will take place in Tokyo, Japan at Tokyo International Forum. The annual event, which rotates around the Asian region, attracts the most respected technical and creative people from all over the world who are excited by research, science, art, animation, gaming, interactivity, education and emerging technologies.
The 16th ACM SIGGRAPH International Conference on Virtual-Reality Continuum and its Applications in Industry (VRCAI2018), on 2-3 December 2018 will take place just before SIGGRAPH Asia 2018(4-7,Dec) in Tokyo, Japan.
ACM SIGGRAPH 2018 Award Winners Announced
SIGGRAPH is the world’s largest, most influential annual conference and exhibition in computer graphics and interactive techniques. Five days of research results, demos, educational sessions, art, screenings, and hands-on interactivity, and three days of commercial exhibits displaying the industry's latest advances.
Whether or not you'll be joining us at SIGGRAPH 2018, you can access much of the conference content online. It has been made publicly available by ACM SIGGRAPH as a service to the computer graphics community.
Research in Virtual Reality (VR) is concerned with computing technologies that allow humans to see, hear, talk, think, learn, and solve problems in virtual and augmented environments. Research in Artificial Intelligence (AI) addresses technologies that allow computing machines to mimic these same human abilities. Although these two fields evolved separately, they share an interest in human senses, skills, and knowledge production. Thus, bringing them together will enable us to create more natural and realistic virtual worlds and develop better, more effective applications.
The 11th annual ACM/SIGGRAPH conference on Motion, Interaction and Games (MIG 2018, formerly Motion in Games) will take place in Limassol, Cyprus from November 8-10, 2018. MIG is sponsored by ACM and held in cooperation with Eurographics.

The 17th annual Symposium on Computer Animation (SCA) will be held in Paris in France, July 11-13, and the symposium will be hosted at the "CNRS Délégation Paris Michel Ange" (grand auditorium Marie-Curie).
The 8th International Conference on “Software and Emerging Technologies for Education, Culture, Entertainment, and Commerce (SETECEC 2019): New Directions in Multimedia Mobile Computing, Social Networks, Human-Computer Interaction and Communicability” is a scientific meeting for discussing the latest advances in the emerging areas of computer sciences and technologies for education, cultural and natural heritage, virtual entertaiment and digital commerce, for instance.
We are moving towards the new era called “Quantic-Nanotechnological-Self-Sufficient Era”, where the emergence of artificial intelligence will occur. In that sense, a few years ago, the transformation of traditional computer science started, whose minimal unit of information are the “bits”, towards to the “qubit”. That is to say, the minimal unit of information in quantum computers.
The 6th International Conference “Multimedia, Scientific Information and Visualization for Information Systems and Metrics” is a scientific meeting for discussing the latest advances in the emerging areas of computer sciences, information systems, multimedia online and off-line, visualization and information scientific, software quality and metrics, for instance.
The 2nd International Conference on "Human-Computer Interaction, High Education, Augmented Reality and Technologies" (HCIHEART 2018) carries implicitly an innovating and revolutionary vision in the domain of the college education of the present and the future, excluding all those groups or castes that prevent the harmonious evolution of scientific knowledge, the use of the new technologies and the growth of the common wealth in the local and global village.
SIGGRAPH Asia 2018 receives strong interest from the industry
Story by Melanie Farmer
For the past 20 years, Laval Virtual has been keeping it real with virtual reality, emerging as the prominent platform and exhibition space for everything related to VR and its future. And, at this year’s annual multi-day conference—expected to draw 20,000 attendees—Laval Virtual continues to serve as the destination for those in the industry, or curious about the industry, to get a firsthand look at the innovation and promise of one of the fastest growing mediums in technology.
Society for Information Display's Display Week 2018 will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center from May 20 - May 25, 2018. The Display Week technical program starts with Short Courses on Sunday, May 20, and continues with Technology Seminars on Monday, May 21, followed by the Symposium, Tuesday through Friday. This year's program consists of technical tracks of over 70 technical sessions consisting of nearly 400 oral and poster presentations.
Laval Virtual is the biggest exhibition and conference for virtual and augemented reality. They are celebrating the 20th year of the Conference.

ADNTIIC 2018: 9th International Conference on Advances in New Technologies, Interactive Interfaces and Communicability
The user interface is the environment par excellence where the latest breakthroughs in the formal and factual sciences converge. In the design of the current and future interactive systems, the presentation of the content on the screen is the key to the success of the rest of the components which make up an avant-garde computer science structure.
