The deadline for submissions to the prestigious Visual Effects Society's 12th Annual VES Awards is rapidly approaching. November 22 is the cutoff to upload work for award consideration.
There are 24 categories under which work may be submitted:
- Category 1: Outstanding Visual Effects in a Visual Effects-Driven Feature Motion Picture
- Category 2: Outstanding Supporting Visual Effects in a Feature Motion Picture
- Category 3: Outstanding Animation in an Animated Feature Motion Picture
- Category 4: Outstanding Visual Effects in a Visual Effects-Driven Broadcast Program
- Category 5: Outstanding Supporting Visual Effects in a Broadcast Program
- Category 6: Outstanding Real-Time Visuals in a Video Game
- Category 7: Outstanding Visual Effects in a Commercial
- Category 8: Outstanding Visual Effects in a Special Venue Project
- Category 9: Outstanding Animated Character in a Live Action Feature Motion Picture
- Category 10: Outstanding Animated Character in an Animated Feature Motion Picture
- Category 11: Outstanding Animated Character in a Commercial or Broadcast Program
- Category 12: Outstanding Created Environment in a Live Action Feature Motion Picture
- Category 13: Outstanding Created Environment in Animated Feature Motion Picture
- Category 14: Outstanding Created Environment in a Commercial or Broadcast Program
