Until February 9, 2014 at 22:00 GMT, applications for student volunteer positions at SIGGRAPH 2014 are open. Volunteering at SIGGRAPH is an excellent way for students to get involved with the conference and network with leaders in their chosen field. When not working, SIGGRAPH 2014 student volunteers have full access to the conference programs and the exhibit hall.

Students with leadership abilities and a passion for computer graphics are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be 18 or older and attend high school, college or graduate school on a full-time basis for at least one semester during the 2013-2014 academic year.

From Jeremy Kenisky, SIGGRAPH 2014 Student Volunteer Program Chair:

"The SIGGRAPH 2014 Student Volunteer Program puts you right in the middle of all of the action with a full conference pass, and deep into a network of fellow students who, just like you, are inspired to be the industry leaders of tomorrow. As a student volunteer, you will help support the conference and have the opportunity to meet and learn from professionals, creators, educators, visionaries, and each other."

Students with financial need may apply for travel and housing assistance, though funds are limited and assistance is not guaranteed.
