SMI 2013
The Shape Modeling International (SMI) conference provides an international forum for the dissemination of new mathematical theories and computational techniques for modeling, simulating and processing digital representations of shapes. Its target audience is the community of researchers, developers, students, and practitioners addressing these topics across a wide range of fields.
DeMset 2013
Design and modeling are concepts and activities common to several disciplines in Science, Education, and Technology. Consequently, design and modeling provide effective concepts, theories, methodologies, and tools for intra- and inter-disciplinary communications. The World Multi-Conference on Systemics, Cybernetics and Informatics: WMSCI might provide synergic relationships with a conference on Design and Modeling, and vice versa.
MODELSWARD 2014
The purpose of the International Conference on Model-Driven Engineering and Software Development, MODELSWARD 2014, is to provide a platform for researchers, engineers, academicians as well as industrial professionals from all over the world to present their research results and development activities in using models and model driven engineering techniques for Software Development. Model-Driven Development (MDD) is an approach to the development of IT systems in which models take a central role, not only for analysis of these systems but also for their construction.

Field-Guided Registration for Feature-Conforming Shape Composition
This technical paper was presented at SIGGRAPH Asia 2012. The authors used an automatic shape composition method to fuse two shape parts which do not overlap and may contain sharp features. This scenario is often encountered when modeling man-made objects.
