On Thursday, May 5 at 7:30 p.m., the Silicon Valley ACM SIGGRAPH Chapter will host a talk by Senior FX Technical Director Tobin Jones.
About the Talk
High-Performance Graphics is the leading international forum for performance-oriented graphics systems research including innovative algorithms, efficient implementations, and hardware architecture. The conference brings together researchers, engineers, and architects to discuss the complex interactions of massively parallel hardware, novel programming models, efficient graphics algorithms, and novel applications.
The Eurographics Symposium on Rendering 2016 will take place in Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland, over 22-24 June 2016. This 27th event continues the series of highly successful Eurographics Symposia and Workshops on rendering. It will be co-located with Eurographics High Performance Graphics, which will be held 20-22 June 2016.
The 9th ACM SIGGRAPH Conference and Exhibition on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques in Asia (SIGGRAPH Asia 2016) will take place in Macao at The Venetian Macao from 5 – 8 December 2016. The annual event, which rotates around the Asian region, attracts the most respected technical and creative people from all over the world who are excited by research, science, art, animation, gaming, interactivity, education and emerging technologies.
Eurographics 2016, the 37th Annual Conference of the European Association for Computer Graphics, will be held at FIL Conference Center, Parque das Nações, one mile away from the Lisbon airport, superbly located in the Parque das Nações.
The conference will take place between May 9th and May 13th in a quiet and extraordinary location facing the riverfront of Lisbon.
The complete conference program will also be made available as a Google agenda in XML, iCal, and HTML formats.
Digifest 2016 rests on three closely linked and overlapping themes: design, technology and entrepreneurship. Design is the creation of a strategic approach to achieve a unique expectation. Technology is the collection of techniques, methods, or processes used in the accomplishment of objectives, such as scientific investigation. Entrepreneurship is the process of starting a business that offers an innovative product, process or service. Listen and learn from current and emerging leaders in the area of digital media.
The 21st International Conference on 3D Web Technology (Web3D 2016) will address an extensive range of research topics related to web-based 3D graphics. The goal of the meeting is to share innovative and creative ideas that develop interactive 3D content in a wide range of web environments, including virtual and augmented reality (VR & AR) and 3D printing.
The ACM Symposium on Applied Perception (ACM SAP) aims to advance and promote research that crosses the boundaries between perception and disciplines such as graphics, visualization, computer vision, haptics and acoustics. ACM SAP 2016 will be held in Anaheim, California, on July 22 and 23, immediately prior to SIGGRAPH 2016.
Communicability is the cornerstone for successful interaction between human beings and technology. The main goal of CCGIDIS is to improve human interaction with cutting-edge technologies.
The 6th International Symposium on CCGIDIS will be centered around an exchange of experience, project work and theory. The discussion will be focused on – but not limited to – the following main topics:
The 5th International Conference on Software and Emerging Technologies for Education, Culture, Entertainment, and Commerce (SETECEC 2016) is a scientific meeting for discussing the latest advances in the emerging areas of computer science and technology.
The average person is unlikely to be familiar with the concept of Digital Molecular Matter, though any member of the game-playing or movie-going public has almost certainly encountered it. Repeatedly.
Each year, ACM SIGGRAPH bestows a small number of awards to members of the computer graphics community, in recognition of exceptional achievements in computer graphics and interactive techniques. Five of the these awards are given out annually, and one (the Steven Anson Coons Award for Outstanding Creative Contributions to Computer Graphics) is awarded every odd-numbered year.
FMX, Conference on Animation, Effects, Games and Transmedia is Europe's most influential conference for digital entertainment where Art, Technology and Business meet. Every year, artists, specialists, scientists, producers and other key people come to FMX to network and to discuss production issues, exciting technologies and new ways of financing and distribution across the industries with an international audience.
The Symposium on Computer Animation was established in 2002 to provide a forum where researchers and practioners in computer animation could interact on a smaller and more intimate scale than a conference such as SIGGRAPH or Eurographics.
Computer Graphics International is one of the oldest international annual conferences on Computer Graphics.
The Spring Conference on Computer Graphics attempts to cover all interesting projects from computer graphics, image processing and applications. The philosophy of SCCG is to put together top experts with young researchers in CG and to support a good communication channel for East-West exchange of prospective ideas.
