ACM SIGGRAPH is pleased to announce the next event in its ongoing webinar series, a special panel discussion exploring the rapidly evolving intersection of fashion, technology, and digital product creation. The session, titled “The Fashion Panel,” will take place on December 9 at 9:00 AM PST and will feature a distinguished group of innovators reshaping the future of digital apparel workflows, virtual sampling, and creative expression.

Featured Host & Panelists

Angela Holm — Host & Panelist

Angela Holm is a Senior 3D Technical Designer with more than 18 years of experience in fashion, apparel construction, and digital product creation. Beginning her career as a traditional technical designer and patternmaker, she later transitioned into 3D apparel, where she now leads asset creation, hardware development, and workflow standardization for Fortune Swimwear’s global brands.

A specialist in Browzwear development, process optimization, and team training, Holm bridges the gap between physical garment craftsmanship and emerging digital design tools. Her work showcases how graphic and 3D skills translate into impactful careers across the fashion industry’s rapidly expanding digital pipelines.

Afsha Iragorri — Panelist

Afsha Iragorri is a 3D technical design expert with more than eight years of experience in the fashion industry. She developed extensive expertise in garment fit and patternmaking through her work with technical design teams at brands such as Coldwater Creek and Ralph Lauren.

She later served as a 3D Technical Designer for Calvin Klein, advising internal teams on best practices in Browzwear VStitcher and helping establish 3D standards for global vendor teams.

In 2021, Iragorri earned a master’s degree in Fashion Management from IED Madrid and founded 3D Fashion Solutions, a consultancy that helps individuals and brands transition into digital product creation (DPC).

Beyond her professional work, Iragorri is deeply passionate about the narrative potential of digital fashion. In her spare time, she experiments with emerging technologies, exploring new artistic expressions that push the boundaries of creativity.

Astrid Hanenkamp — Panelist

Astrid Hanenkamp is a seasoned 3D and 2D fashion designer with more than 20 years of experience in women’s and men’s apparel. Her expertise spans knitwear, sweaters, cut & sew, soft wovens, and performance wear.

Hanenkamp blends traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge digital innovation, using tools such as Browzwear, Style3D, and Blender to create sustainable, cost-effective virtual samples and immersive “phygital” fashion experiences.

Her design philosophy merges innovation with tradition, resulting in hybrid garments defined by dynamic layering, transformable structures, and bold color compositions—reinterpreting classic silhouettes with a contemporary, expressive approach.

Rachel Arnsdorf — Panelist

Rachel Arnsdorf’s fascination with fashion began early, sparked by the way clothing shapes movement, emotion, and identity. After teaching herself to sew, she expanded her passion from creating outfits for stuffed animals to designing garments for people, eventually studying costume design at the University of Michigan.

Arnsdorf built a 15-year career as a patternmaker and technical designer focused on USA-made apparel, working with brands such as Abercrombie & Fitch, Eileen Fisher, and Patagonia, as well as domestic apparel factories.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, she discovered CLO3D, embracing its potential for instant digital fittings and more efficient pattern corrections. Today, she serves as a Digital Product Curator at Vera Bradley Inc., where she applies 3D tools to improve fit and grading, reduce sampling, accelerate approvals, enhance communication, and generate accurate 3D renders for B2B sales presentations.
