Qualifications

Applicants must be enrolled as full-time high school, vocational, undergraduate, or graduate students during some part of the 2009-2010 academic year, or alumni who graduated after 1 January 2008. Volunteers must plan to arrive in Seoul no later than 4 pm on Tuesday, 14 December 2010 and depart no earlier than Sunday, 19 December 2010. Other arrangements for arrival and departure may be made by contacting the Student Volunteers Chair but may disqualify applicants from being accepted unless approved by the Chair in advance.

Applicants must be 18 years of age on or before 15 December 2010 to participate as a student volunteer. Students must present a current, government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license or passport, at SIGGRAPH Asia 2010 in order to receive their conference badges and materials. Students under 18 years old will not be considered for the SIGGRAPH 2010 Student Volunteer Program.

Applicants must be proficient in English, and all applications must be submitted in English.

All students and alumni, regardless of discipline or area of interest, are encouraged to apply. No prior experience with the annual SIGGRAPH and SIGGRAPH Asia conferences or computer graphics is required. We are looking for reliable, hard-working, self-starting, independent, enthusiastic students who are excited about the conference and who want to be among the next generation of industry leaders and professionals.
