SEGA Corporation's Training Programs

An introduction to SEGA Corporation's training programs for new employees, designed to help them acquire basic knowledge of game-development technologies. Training is required because technologies are evolving so rapidly. The workshop summarizes training in several areas, such as real-time shaders for artists, how to initiate effective animation, and continous skill development.

Instructor Bio(s)

Iljun Kang Iljun Kang is in charge of in-house training and managing shared tools at SEGA Corporation, where he specializes in technical support for 3D tools, intranet production management, and overseas manufacturer information management. Kazuhiro Fumoto Kazuhiro Fumoto designed the start-screen image for Dreamcast after he joined SEGA in 1998, and he has been involved in art direction for several productions, such as "Jリーグプロサッカークラブを作ろう". Currently, he is providing technical support for XSI. Tomoyuki Tsukishima Tomoyuki Tsukishima has worked on modeling, animation, rigging, and technical support for arcade titles such as The Key of Avalon, Let's Go Jungle!, and Initial D Arcade Stage 5. He is currently researching effective education methods in the 3D tool environment.
