The conference will take place in Istanbul, Turkey, June 20–22, 2015. A single registration for Expressive 2015 will include all three symposia.
Invited talks and artist talks will be shared among the conferences, and sessions will be mixed. Participants will be able to freely switch between the sessions, so as to see the talks of their own field of work and also be inspired by talks from related domains. The submission, review, and publication process for the event will be handled jointly across the three conferences.

The ACM Symposium on User Interface Software and Technology (UIST) is the premier forum for innovations in human-computer interfaces. Sponsored by ACM special interest groups on computer-human interaction (SIGCHI) and computer graphics (SIGGRAPH), UIST brings together people from diverse areas including graphical & web user interfaces, tangible & ubiquitous computing, virtual & augmented reality, multimedia, new input & output devices, and CSCW.
The ACM Symposium on Virtual Reality Software and Technology (VRST) is is a conference on the cutting edge of a blossoming area of research. VRST 2014, the 20th symposium, will take place in the historic city of Edinburgh, UK, from November 11 to 13. As an international forum for virtual reality researchers and developers, the conference will provide attendees with a feast for the senses -- be it through virtual technology, or strolls through the timeworn, cobbled streets of Old Town Edinburgh.
The ACM Symposium on Spatial User Interaction (SUI) will be the second international symposium focused on the user interface challenges that appear when users interact in the space where the flat, two-dimensional, digital world meets the volumetric, physical, three-dimensional (3D) space we live in. This considers both spatial input and output, with an emphasis on the issues around interaction between humans and systems. It provides a unique opportunity for industrial and academic researchers to exchange about the state-of-the-art spatial and 3D interaction research!
The ACM Symposium on Virtual Reality Software and Technology (VRST) is an international forum for the exchange of experience and knowledge among researchers and developers concerned with virtual reality software and technology. VRST will provide an opportunity for VR researchers to interact, share new results, show live demonstrations of their work, and discuss emerging directions for the field.
