Submissions are now open for many of the programs at SIGGRAPH 2017, which will take place from July 30 to August 3 in Los Angeles. SIGGRAPH is the world's largest conference on computer graphics, and a remarkable place where experts, scholars and decision makers come together to exchange ideas that spark innovation. SIGGRAPH Asia 2016 Preview
SIGGRAPH Asia 2016 will take place at the Venetian Resort Hotel in Macao, China, from December 5 to 8. If you're counting the days until the conference begins, why not fill the time with the Technical Papers trailer, the Computer Animation Festival trailer, or any of the eleven other in-depth videos on what to expect at this year's conference.
The ACM SIGGRAPH International Resources Committee has produced multi-language audio guides for the SIGGRAPH Asia 2016 Art Gallery, Emerging Technologies and VR Showcase. They are available online now.
What's Happening With Our Members
Longtime ACM SIGGRAPH volunteer Terrence Masson will become Chair of the MFA Computer Art Department at the School of Visual Arts in January, 2017. The current chair, Bruce Wands (another much appreciated longtime ACM SIGGRAPH volunteer), will assume the role of Chair Emeritus to focus on his creative work, writing, and research.
