Virtual Reality-Based Spatial Skills Assessment and Its Role in Computer Graphics Education

Development and refinement of assessment devices to examine human spatial skills is critical as 3D computer graphics become more common in educational settings. This work examines the use of traditional paper-based assessments used to examine 3D constructs and abilities, and how instruction in a stereoscopic, immersive environment will cast light on a more accurate assessment of those abilities.
