[Equipment in Session Rooms]

To ensure that you have the equipment necessary to make your presentation look great, SIGGRAPH 2003 provides a generous array of presentation technology in the session rooms. The standard setup includes a screen, a high-resolution video/data projector, an SVHS video player, an audio cassette player, a CD player, a standing lectern, a laser pointer, two microphones, a Windows PC, and a Macintosh G4.

All the video players and computers are connected to the high-resolution video/data projector. The largest rooms also offer a second screen and projector for projecting the images of the presenters on the stage.

SIGGRAPH 2003 provides the following presentation equipment for each technical session room:

One projection screen
One video/data projector (up to 1024 X 768 resolution in native mode)

Video Playback
One SVHS Player (NTSC) located at head table

One PC - Dell P4, 2.0 GHz Processor, 256 MB RAM, nVidia Geforce 4 w/128mb, CD/DVD Drive, Internet Connectivity, Windows XP, Office 2000
One Apple Macintosh G4, 733 Mhz, 256mb RAM, 32mb Graphics Adapter, Internet Connectivity, CD ROM Drive, MAC OS X, Office for Mac, Apple Keynote

All rooms are equipped with stereo sound systems for playback sources and computer audio.

What's different from previous years?
No slide projectors are included as part of the standard setup and are available only as a special request. Only one video/data projection screen is standard in each room. Only one PC is standard in each room.
