On Wednesday, May 14, the Toronto ACM SIGGRAPH Chapter will host an evening with Academy Award® winning filmmaker Chris Landreth. The event will include a screening of Landreth's short film "Subconscious Password," presented in partnership with the National Film Board of Canada.
The ACM SIGGRAPH 2014 elections are upon us. If you were a member of ACM SIGGRAPH as of 1 January 2014, you should have received an email with an electronic ballot. Votes may be cast online using the voter ID and password provided in the email.

A weekend-long hackathon designed specifically for the architecture, engineering and construction industry will take place at Facebook Headquarters in Menlo Park, California between March 14 and 16, 2014. The event, appropriately named the AEC Hackathon, is a non-profit affair intended to provide an laid-back environment for creative brainstorming.
The Eurographics Symposium on Geometry Processing (SGP 2014) is a prominent venue for the dissemination of cutting-edge research in geometry processing. This year, the 12th symposium will be held at Cardiff University (UK) from 9 July to 11 July.
