The Biggest Keeps Getting Bigger:
SIGGRAPH 96 Exhibit Floor Expands

SIGGRAPH 96, the 23rd annual international conference and exhibition on computer graphics and interactive techniques, 4-9 August 1996 (exhibition 6-8 August 1996), Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, New Orleans, has already surpassed last year's record of more than 126,000 net square feet of exhibit space, with estimates for 1996 currently exceeding 140,000 net square feet, according to SIGGRAPH 96 Conference Chair John Fujii. This makes SIGGRAPH 96 the largest computer graphics exhibition in the United States.

In 1995, SIGGRAPH was identified as one of the top five fastest growing exhibitions in the United States, according to Tradeshow Week. More than 25,000 people are expected to attend SIGGRAPH 96.

Over 250 of the leading computer graphics companies are expected to showcase their products and services at SIGGRAPH 96, of which 20 percent are first-time exhibitors. On average, returning exhibitors from SIGGRAPH 95 have expanded their square foot requirements by 22 percent on the SIGGRAPH 96 show floor.
