Project Details

"In this speech-based image browser, an interactive window displays a collection of constantly updated images derived from the Internet. As users speak into voice-input devices, [recognized] keywords generate downloads of corresponding images. Users can interact with the images on the window's surface."

Images stream on the screen from the respective view of the user. Images can be interactively examined for their URLs to find out more of exactly what they refer to.

"Riding the Net provides an entertaining and playful way to browse the Internet... [u]sers can control the content of what they are watching through their own decisions, dialogue, and interaction."
