Project Details
- "The CircleMaze is a multi-user interactive musical game that encourages team building and collaboration. Combining novel input devices with real-time computer graphics on an integrated tabletop surface, the CircleMaze brings together a group of players to participate in group gaming and music-making."
- Inspired by Jam-O-Drum (SIGGRAPH 2000), the researchers at CMU have extended the community aspects to a game that furthers communication and collaboration among its players. Based upon concentric rings forming a maze, players must work together to collectively move their pieces to the center goal.
- "The CircleMaze is a single step in our continuing research into communal music-making experiences."
