Project Details

Daily demonstrations of several interactive JPL systems for processing and visualizing science data returned by spacecraft instruments in earth orbit.

1 - The Science Analysis Graphics Environment (SAGE) is a graphical interface to control processing of data returned by the 1997 Pathfinder mission to Mars.

2 - VISTAS is an interactive tool for query and retrieval of earth observation data acquired by the TOVS sensor.

3 - A working prototype of processing software for the Atmospheric Infra-Red Sounder (AIRS).

4 - Animation and "fly-by" systems to explore Mars, Jupiter, and Venus.

5 - Internet-accessible image database browsers and navigators for public access to mission archives.

6 - Current work focusing on processing of operational data.
