Project Details
- "Tenochtitlan: The Clash of Empires" is a web-based three-dimensional, interactive multimedia tour built in VRML 2.0.
- The design allows visitors to follow the narrative by advancing their tour along landmark icons. At each significant spot the user finds further models, background, and historical information to be explored along with rich regional ambient sounds.
- The presentation narrates the historical meeting in 1519 of Hernán Cortés (Spanish Conquistador) and Montezuma, ruler of the Aztec empire at the island city of Tenochtitlan.
