Project Details

"Plasm: Yer Mug" offers passers-by an electronic mirror looking glass complete with cultural distortions that respond to participation.

The installation takes it cues from the "Late Night Cafe" diner's counter. Force sensors in the counter and stool, video cameras with feature extraction support, and a simulated collection of "autonomous geomorphs" present the participant with a wide variety of visual and auditory responses from the mirror.

The installation is motivated by a "quest for increasingly accessible virtual exchanges."
