Project Details
- "Plasm: Yer Mug" offers passers-by an electronic mirror looking glass complete with cultural distortions that respond to participation.
- The installation takes it cues from the "Late Night Cafe" diner's counter. Force sensors in the counter and stool, video cameras with feature extraction support, and a simulated collection of "autonomous geomorphs" present the participant with a wide variety of visual and auditory responses from the mirror.
- The installation is motivated by a "quest for increasingly accessible virtual exchanges."
