Project Details
- "Developed in 1988 by (Art)n Laboratory, PHSColograms are full-color, 3D hardcopy images created directly from digital 3D imagery. They can be created using nearly any software capable of creating 3D images, such as Alias, Wavefront, or AVS, or from digitalized real-world photography."
- PHSColorgrams are autostereographs with line screens added to create 3D stereo perception effects without aid of additional viewing devices.
- (Art)n Laboratory is so named to indicate unlimited potential for collaboration among the arts. In 1988, the first PHSCologram software was developed. By 1992, a patent was granted for the PHSCologram process.
