Project Details
- "The Mohawk" hypermedia project demonstrates progressive ideas in architectural design that exploit the advantages of the computer as design tool.
- The primary application presents different types of information that, when combined, assume a complex result that would be impossible to achieve by any other media than the computer.
- At present (1993), architects have not started thinking with the computer - they design first and then try to adapt it to the existing software. This project presents opportunities to challenge current fundamental notions of design with new approaches to defining and solving design problems.
