Project Details
- "Matrix: Women Networking" is an online collaborative cultural/community event that strives for inclusion by exploring low-end bandwidth and standardized applications for all participants.
- Four artists explored text-based interactive online projects to connect ideas, peoples, and issues. Two additional artists explored distributed graphics on the web (one was a chained animation effort).
- The focus on the network as a many-to-many communications structure suggests new potentials for flexible definition and inclusion of geographically separated individuals.
