Project Details
- "The Exquisite Mechanism of Shivers" is an interactive hypermedia videodisk installation that combines poetic text fragments, modular music segments, image sequences, and user interaction to create a series of changing poetic audio/visual sentences.
- Using a HyperCard and VideoStack interface to a laserdisk, the computer collects and displays sequences based upon user navigational clues.
- The result is a unique poetic experience of both words and music for each visitor to the installation.
