Project Details
- The Virtual Museum is an interactive electronic museum that allows participants to move from room to room and select any exhibit for more detailed examination.
- The exhibits in the museum combine precomputed animation with novel algorithms for doing real-time image warping, allowing an interesting range of interactions with a variety of scientific data (medical imaging data, plant growth patterns, galaxy simulations, Mars fly-overs, and Earth exploration).
- The presentation gives a familiar museum paradigm for discovery and interesting interaction with scientific data.
