Project Details

"Landslides and Debris Flows" is a hands-on interactive multimedia presentation produced for education of the general public in a non-technical and entertaining format.

The user can select from 10 different short presentations that describe causes and show devastation that can result from landslides and debris flows.

Using examples from the San Francisco Bay Area, public awareness is increased about these natural disasters that caused 25 deaths and US$66 Million in property damage in 1982 alone.
