Project Details
- SIGGRAPH's first multimedia technical paper elaborates on the 1991 paper "A Comprehensive Physical Model for Light Reflection," "Computer Graphics" 25(4), pp 175-86, 1991.
- Composed entirely in the MediaView, a system for authoring documents that include graphics, sound, video, and animation, this paper actively demonstrates an effective approximation of the reflection model.
- The media-rich presentation enables better understanding of the concepts through interactive participation with the model.
