Project Details

A conceptual demonstration for virtual space design of Boeing aircraft systems.

Using a VPL DataGlove and Eyephones interface, user input is channeled through a Macintosh IIfx running design-phase software. Information is rendered by SGI 4D/300 VGX workstations and presented to the Eyephone display gear.

VSX was designed to enable intense human interaction with computer simulations including applications such as designer or pilot evaluations of aircraft digital designs.
