Project Details
- A physical cue ball and pool cue act as the gestural interface for a pool table simulation.
- Using a physical ball and pool cue, trajectory information is computed from sensed locations of the ball in the base of the video game.
- The desire is to pass more dimensions of physical information down into an electronic universe. Hence, a gestural interface creates a natural conduit to smooth the illusion of ball trajectories into a video screen presentation. Design of such games allow gaming facilities to host a pool table in much less space.
