Project Details
- Three different systems are presented to illustrate an integrated yet modular approach to virtual realities.
- "Virtual Environment Interaction" allows users to create their own virtual world through a metaphor of connected rooms. In "Protein Folding", users drive a simulation towards an optimal goal of creating a tertiary 3D structure of a protein from its amino acid sequence. "Advanced Mechanical Simulation" simulates the interaction of a deformable virtual object in a virtual room.
- Using both visual and tactile feedback, users gain more intuitive access to their virtual environments.
