Project Details
- A prototype demonstration of a virtual production studio and virtual theater.
- Using two six-degrees-of-freedom (6DF) motion sensor devices, one drives the motion of virtual character simulations (analogous to puppeteering) while the other enables control over a virtual camera device.
- This prototype attempts to address two major computer character animation issues - quality of performance to achieve screen personality and automation of production techniques that can compete in a commercial entertainment world.
