ICCVIA’ 2015 will be an international forum for discussions on recent advances in the fields of computer vision and image analysis, and on applications of these technologies in various fields.
Streak cameras are used by chemists to capture light passing through samples and determine chemical properties. At the MIT Media Lab in Cambridge, Massachusetts, scientists have found a way to modify these streak cameras to capture motion – recording ultrashort pulses of light at up to a trillion frames per second. Project Director Dr. Ramesh Raskar calls this new technique “femto-photography.”

The purpose of VISIGRAPP is to bring together researchers and practitioners interested in both theoretical advances and applications of computer vision, computer graphics and information visualization. VISIGRAPP is composed of three co-located conferences, each specialized in at least one of the aforementioned main knowledge areas. -GRAPP -IVAPP -VISAPP

The conference will be structured along five main tracks, covering different aspects related to computer graphics from modeling to rendering -- including animation, interactive environments and social agents in computer graphics.
The International Conference on Computer Vision Theory and Applications aims at becoming a major point of contact between researchers, engineers and practitioners on the area of computer vision application systems.
Five simultaneous tracks will be held, covering all different aspects related to computer vision: Image Formation and Preprocessing; Image and Video Analysis and Understanding; Motion, Tracking and Stereo Vision; and Applications and Services.
The CGIV 2013 conference aims to focus on the interdisciplinary methods and affiliated research done among various science disciplines, medicine, engineering, media and commerce. This three-day event will focus on the research and developments conjured to meet the roaring demand of today’s "visual culture" through the medium of computing, accentuating on the linkage that shapes academia and industry with the goal of stimulating views and providing a forum where researchers and practitioners can discuss the latest developments in computer graphics, imaging and visualization.
