The Educator's Forum offers two days of juried and curated content just for educators – including talks, courses, and panels with respected leaders in the field such as Casey Reas, Bruce Gooch, and Ed Angel. New this year is a special session of selected papers from the SIGCSE 2017 conference, re-presenting four papers that showcase research in areas of significant interest to SIGGRAPH educators.

Innovation in cars is increasingly driven by new technology from computer science; examples include autonomous driving, assistance system, in-vehicle entertainment and many others. The first German Computer Science and Cars Symposium (CSCS) will take place on July 6 in Munich, and is organized in part by Munich ACM SIGGRAPH. The event aims to connect researchers and practitioners from the automotive industry.
