The ACM SIGGRAPH Blog is Exciting

Have you visited the ACM SIGGRAPH blog recently? If not you're missing out on some good reading - and we'd hate for that to happen. In the last few weeks, we've posted an interview with "Kubo and the Two Strings” VFX Supervisor Steve Emerson, interviewed a bunch of our SIGGRAPH 2017 program chairs and took a long, hard look at Google's first VR film, "Pearl." Check it out!

ACM Releases New Article Templates

ACM has released a new version of their article templates, to be used by authors preparing content for all ACM-sponsored activities: journals, transactions, and conference papers and abstracts.

This new templates attempt to consolidate the many changes made by individual SIGs (including SIGGRAPH) to the previous templates, and brings a common "look and feel" to publications across ACM.

The templates are available for LaTeX and Microsoft Word (Windows and Mac). The "Instructions for Authors" page on the ACM SIGGRAPH website provides links to the templates, and numerous examples of their use. Further information on the article templates is available on the ACM website.

What's Happening With Our Members

ACM SIGGRAPH truly is an international family. In the last eight weeks, we've posted 10 in-depth profiles of featured ACM SIGGRAPH members who live all over the world. Read all about Aruquia Peixoto, Edwin Cuenco, Diaa Ahmedien, Juyeon Hong, Muhammad Arief, Nicholas Harvey, Mary Whitton, Neil Patel, SuYin Wong and Robin O'Neill. We love learning more about our members; we hope you enjoy the profiles as much as we do.
