SIGGRAPH 2016 Videos
Recorded video of 14 sessions from SIGGRAPH 2016 are stil available to watch online. These sessions include the keynote, panels, talks, Technical Papers Fast Forward and Real-Time Live! In addition, there are 13 videos produced by the ACM SIGGRAPH SCOOP Team on YouTube covering various areas of the conference.
2016 Election Results
The 2016 ACM SIGGRAPH election results have been announced. The winning candidates for the three open director-at-large positions are Adam Bargteil of the University of Maryland, Paul Kry of McGill University and Alyn Rockwood of Boulder Graphics LLC. The incoming directors will serve three-year terms beginning September 1, 2016.
Spotlight on the International Resources Committee
IRC members speak multiple languages and live in different countries, making the committee one of the most global in ACM SIGGRAPH. Their diverse backgrounds allow them to bridge cultural and language gaps to connect computer graphics enthusiasts all over the world. The IRC is especially active on social media, working to highlight various ACM SIGGRAPH and CG happenings across the globe. The IRC's latest social media venture is the IRC Wechat channel (enter the channel by scanning the QR code below), which posts everything related to SIGGRAPH, SIGGRAPH Asia and computer graphics in Mandarin.
