A new service offered at SIGGRAPH 99 is the dedicated Rehearsal Room. This full-scale mock-up of the typical session room, located in Room 513 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, provides an opportunity for contributors to acquaint themselves with the room layout and equipment controls, and to practice transitions between the elements of their presentations. The hours of operation for the rehearsal room are:

Saturday, 7 August: 12 noon - 7:00 p.m.
Sunday - Thursday: 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Friday, 13 August: 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

SIGGRAPH 99 will have over 400 presenters, so the rehearsal room will not be able to accommodate a full "dress" rehearsal of your entire presentation. You will still have the Speaker Preparation Room available to practice and polish your content.

We can reserve a 30-minute block of rehearsal time for you on the day before your presentation. For instance, if your presentation is on Wednesday, you can schedule a rehearsal on Tuesday in Room 513. Since the scheduling will be done on a first-come, first-served basis, you should use this online form to indicate your first, second and third preferences for your rehearsal time.
