In the digital beginning there was Text. And it was good. But, well, boring. So the right-brained among us labored to bring images to the computer screen. ASCII Art was the fruit of their labors. But the artists sought even richer images and delved into the world of the numbers and dredged out bitmapped graphics and mathematical analysis. Then true computer modeling came forth.
