Venue: Student Volunteer Office
Job: Signage Deliver
Contact: SV Chair or SV Office Manager
Duties: Every day there is signage that needs to be delivered to the appropriate venues, paper, panel, sketch, etc. Student Volunteers will deliver these and collect the expired ones. When possible, we will do this the night prior to save time in the morning. Each sign will have a label indicating delivery time and location. The sign should be at its location by the time indicated. Easels when necessary should already be in place. Should there not be an easel contact conference management and give the room location where the easel is needed. Papers and panels title signs have the actual starting times so those signs should be up and hour prior to the time listed. Be sure and check on the label if the sign is to remain for multiple days. Duplicates are not made for multiple day rooms. Signs at outlying hotels can be delivered once daily with instructions to the hotel to place the sign at the room at the time indicated. Do not put signs up too far in advance of a session/function. For example a sign for a 5pm function shouldn't be set at 9am. Signage includes signs outside the Birds of a feather Rooms. At 9am and 2 pm each day, signs should be checked and replaced when full. This sign will have writing on it. When the sign is full, it should be returned to the conference management office.
