Sketches are live presentations up to 15 minutes in length that are designed to encourage participants to share their recent work in computer graphics, graphic design, application areas, and interactive techniques. They provide an alternative to the Papers program for those participants who wish to present work in progress or late-breaking results in a less formal format. Software that accompanies a presentation (for example, an industrial application) may be submitted for inclusion in the Creative Applications Laboratory. The deadline for final Sketch proposals was 16 April 1997.
