All volunteers who fulfill their commitment may also be eligible to receive a copy of the Conference Proceedings following the conference.</p> <p>Volunteers who fulfill 30 hours or more and who do not live in the New Orleans area are eligible for up to six nights of accommodation in conference housing. Housing is not guaranteed and is provided according to need and qualifications. Up to four students of the same gender will be assigned to each room. Further information on housing will be provided upon acceptance as a Student Volunteer.</p> <p>All volunteers are responsible for their own travel to and from New Orleans, as well as their own meals during their time at the conference.</p> <p>Some limited Travel Assistance Awards (TAA's) are available for 30-hour volunteers though they are not guaranteed. When these awards are granted by the Student Volunteers Committee, they establish a maximum amount per recipient. After arriving in New Orleans, Student Volunteers must meet their commitment to the program (30 hours) in order to receive the award.
