The Recognition Policy for Presenters & Volunteers is designed to acknowledge and show appreciation for all contributions to the conference. The basic recognition policy is based on a percentage discount off the early registration fees for whatever registration category the presenter or volunteer chooses (regardless of when registration is completed), according to the following table. Each presenter gets the highest discount available without aggregating discounts for multiple presentations. Discounts are ONLY transferable to an individual who is a co-contributor or co-presenter of the work and recognized as such in the SIGGRAPH 2009 Program and Buyer's Guide.
If a presenter's employer is willing to pay for registration, SIGGRAPH encourages the presenter to waive the recognition discount. Any overall savings goes to enhance the overall attendee experience at the conference.
