The course summarizes recent research advances related to irradiance caching: caching on glossy surfaces, temporal caching, acceleration through GPU implementation, and irradiance decomposition.
PrerequisitesBasic understanding of rendering, ray tracing in particular. Familiarity with global illumination concepts is useful but not required.
