Thermoesthesia: On Artist-Scientist Collaboration

Thermoesthesia is a new style of interactive artwork with an original thermal-sense display that allows users to feel the temperature of visually displayed objects by directly touching the objects. It is expected to extend access to interactive information in daily life. This paper describes the collaborative art-science process used to developed Thermoesthesia.
