1. Will SIGGRAPH 2006 pay for shipping my work?
No. If your work is accepted, you are responsible for crating, shipping, and in-transit insurance. SIGGRAPH 2006 will insure the work while it is on display at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center.   TOP

2. Should I submit a Sketch in addition to my Guerilla Studio submission?
Yes. This year we are highly encouraging Guerilla Studio Sketch submissions from those who submit Guerilla Studio proposals. Sketches is the perfect forum to speak about your technology, your art, and the nature of the collaborative process, especially the concepts, techniques, and innovations behind your Guerilla Studio project.   TOP

3. Is a formal presentation of my work at SIGGRAPH 2006 required?
Depending on your submission category, a presentation of the work is required. Refer to How to Submit Your Work for the program you are considering.   TOP

4. I'm having trouble uploading the high-resolution digital image required for the online submission. What should I do?
If, due to bandwidth restrictions, you cannot upload a high-resolution image or supplemental movies, please instead upload a lower-resolution version. If you need to include a high-resolution version for jury review and publication stills, put these on CD-ROM or DVD(+,-)ROM as specified in How to Submit Your Work.   TOP

5. My email address will be changing soon. How can I notify you of the update?
You will be able to edit and change your email address in the online submission system.   TOP

6. I've completed the online submission forms, but the system still allows me to edit my account. Am I done?
Yes. But you are allowed to edit your online submission account until the deadline: 15 March, 2006, 5 pm worldwide.   TOP

7. What happens if the Guerilla Studio doesn't secure an equipment and/or technology donation that's required for my submitted and accepted project? When will I be notified of a situation such as this?
The Guerilla Studio depends upon donations for software and equipment. While we have very good relationships with the companies that sponsor the Guerilla Studio with equipment, technology, and software, and many companies sponsor us year after year, we can not guarantee that a specified technology or piece of equipment for your accepted project will be available for SIGGRAPH 2006. If the Guerilla Studio fails to secure a donation for equipment and/or technology required for your submitted and accepted project, you will be notified by 31 May 2006. If your project is completely dependent on the unsecured equipment and/or technology, unfortunately the Guerilla Studio will not be able to support your project. If it's a minor component of your project, and you feel that you can still successfully present your project as described in your accepted proposal, the Guerilla Studio will continue to support your project. The Guerilla Studio Chair reserves the right to determine if the project can be presented as described in the project proposal without the unavailable equipment and/or technology. If you are able to secure comparable equipment and/or technology for your project, the Guerilla Studio will allow you to bring the equipment into the Guerilla Studio; however, the Guerilla Studio will not cover any shipping costs for equipment secured and brought in by submitters of accepted projects.    TOP
