English Review Service
If your first language is not English, ask our volunteer editors to help you improve your paper or proposal.
The International Center's goal is to enhance SIGGRAPH 2006's multi-cultural flavour by encouraging the international community to submit their work, attend the conference, and participate in all conference sessions, activities, and events.
Working behind the scenes of the International Center is a team of volunteers from all over the world who form the International Resources Committee. Before, during, and after the conference, this committee promotes computer graphics and interactive techniques worldwide, helps international contributors prepare and submit their work, and helps international attendees get the best experience they can from the conference.
In order to make international attendees' experience of SIGGRAPH 2006 as exciting and magical as it can be, the following services are offered by the International Resources Committee:

In order to make international attendees' experience of SIGGRAPH 2006 as exciting and magical as it can be, the following services are offered by the International Resources Committee:
- The English Review Service improves the writing of international submissions to SIGGRAPH 2006 programs and events. A team of native English-speaking volunteers will read your proposed contribution before you officially submit it and provide suggestions to enhance the legibility of the text (not content).
Note: no guarantee of turn-around time is made concerning the English Review service. The earlier you submit your material for review, the higher the likelihood it will get done before your program deadline.
- Guided tours in different languages. Go to the International Center, choose a language, and enroll in one of the guided tours of the Art Gallery and Emerging Technologies.
- The International Center. During the conference itself, the International Center is an active and thriving place. It offers a range of activities for international attendees, so drop by the International Center to make sure you don't miss a thing! The center also provides a comfortable and safe area to network and meet other international attendees.
There is a team of volunteers available to assist you at the International Center. Members of the International Resources Committee answer questions from attendees, lend assistance to those who may wish to host meetings or informal gatherings for attendees from their countries or regions, and provide informal translation services.
