Applicants must be enrolled as full-time high school, undergraduate, or graduate students during some part of the 2004-2005 academic year. Students must plan to arrive in Los Angeles on the morning of Saturday, 30 July 2005, be prepared to work by no later than 4 pm that afternoon, and depart no earlier than Friday, 5 August 2005. There is a mandatory Student Volunteer orientation on the evening of Saturday, 30 July. Other arrangements for arrival and departure may be made by contacting the Student Volunteers Chair but may disqualify applicants from being accepted unless approved by the Chair in advance.

Applicants must be 18 years of age on or before 31 July 2005 to participate as a student volunteer. Students must present a current, government-issued photo-ID, such as a driver's license or passport, at SIGGRAPH 2005 in order to receive their conference badges and materials. Students under 18 years old will not be considered for the SIGGRAPH 2005 Student Volunteers Program.

Applicants must be proficient in English, and all applications must be submitted in English.

All students, regardless of discipline or area of interest, are encouraged to apply. No prior experience with the annual SIGGRAPH conference is required. We are looking for reliable, hard-working, self-starting, independent, enthusiastic students who are excited about the conference and want to be a part of the next generation of computer graphics and interactive techniques professionals.
