The deadline for submitting skteches to SIGGRAPH 2004 was 7 April.
The complete list of accepted Sketches
The Sketches program has established itself as a premier forum for presenting the latest new ideas, methods, and uses of computer graphics and interactive techniques. Sketches cover a broad spectrum of topics in art, design, science, and engineering, and include provocative speculation, academic research, industrial development, practical tools, and behind-the-scenes explanations of commercial and artistic works.
A sketch is a talk, lasting approximately 20 minutes followed by a brief question-and-answer period. At the conference, sketches are presented in sessions grouped by topic, with four or five sketches per session, chaired by a member of the review committee.
We invite submissions from researchers, developers, and artists from all fields. We are equally interested in sketches that showcase novel and interdisciplinary applications of computer graphics and interactive techniques, and those that develop the core state of the art. We equally embrace work from industry and academic institutions as well as independent work.
Our goal is to continue to inform, excite, and inspire our community. Join us!
New This Year
- We have revamped the submission categories, for a better
fit with the breadth of submissions we receive, and clarified
the evaluation critera. See Categories for details.
- This year we are accepting all-electronic submissions of sketch
proposals, including videos and supplemental materials. See the
Submission Guidelines and Uploading Files for details.
