The complete list of Courses

The SIGGRAPH 2004 Courses Committee wants to collaborate with you in creating learning experiences for the 31st international conference on computer graphics and interactive techniques. Teaching at SIGGRAPH 2004 is your opportunity to reach our community not only with what you do, but how you do it. Your specific knowledge and expertise can open hundreds of minds to inquiry, investigation, and understanding.

This year, we are particularly looking for submissions that focus on interactive techniques and proposals that are new to the SIGGRAPH audience. Whether beginning, intermediate, or advanced, all areas pertinent to the digital sciences and arts are of interest.

These areas include, but are not limited to:
  • Interaction design and techniques
  • Art and perception
  • Cross-disciplinary collaborations
  • Physical computing
  • Digital cinema and projection
  • Web graphics
  • Wireless applications
  • Real-time gaming and interactivity
  • Animation
  • Modeling
  • API
A successful proposal will specify not only what attendees will learn, but also the learning tools you will offer for your tutorial, half-day or full-day course, and beyond.

Whether you theorize it, research it, apply it, or build it, the SIGGRAPH 2004 audience wants to know: "How do you do that?" Come teach.
