[Hands-On Course Preparation]
SIGGRAPH 2003 hands-on courses require special preparation. Organizers of hands-on courses are expected to:
- Provide all necessary software (applications, work files, tutorials, etc.) to the Courses Chair no later than 10 April 2003. Attendees will download these files from the SIGGRAPH 2003 web site, or from your ftp site, before the conference. They will also be available on CD-ROM before the hands-on courses at the Rentsys service desk near SIGGRAPH 2003 registration.
Attendees will bring their own laptop computers to hands-on courses, or rent laptops from Rentsys, the official SIGGRAPH 2003 computer-rental contractor.
Hands-on course rooms include tables, power strips, and wireless network access.
