Get caught up in the Vortechs!
The Vortechs is a fantastic space designed to foster a whirlwind of networking, gaming, demonstration, presentation, and discussion opportunities in true SIGGRAPH style.
At one end of the the Vortechs, get involved in a collaborative project with the ultimate pixel, and at the other end those inspired by sun and sand can collaborate and compete with colleagues on the
volleyball court.
On the way, check out some sculpture. Or is it performance art? Need to show a tape or DVD to someone? Need to finish a conversation from a course or sketch? Stop by the Vortechs discussion area and chat for a
while.
Check out the I-Tube, an Emerging Technologies exhibit that's too big
for Emerging Technologies!
Those with more competitive needs can take on others in favorite games networked together in the high-speed gaming lounge. Bring your games loaded and be prepared to challenge and be challenged. Check the board for scheduled games, or schedule your own. Have a snack, or just sit and catch up with old friends. There's always something happening in the Vortechs.
