SIGGRAPH 2003 provides age-appropriate child- care activities for children as young as three months. KiddieCorp provides age-appropriate child care activities for children from three months to 16 years of age at the San Diego Convention Center. Children must be registered for a minimum of three consecutive hours. Individualized evening child care is also available on a limited, first-come, first-served basis. Wireless Internet Access
802.11b access is available in select areas of the San Diego Convention Center. Some SIGGRAPH 2003 presentations offer audience participation via wireless.

Please refer to your laptop operating system and client adapter documentation to:
  1. Document all existing TCP/IP and wireless configuration information before you make any changes.
  2. Configure your laptop to use DHCP.
  3. Configure your wireless adapter Network Name (SSID) to be "Instant Internet."
  4. Disable encryption on your wireless adapter.
The SIGGRAPH 2003 wireless network provides open, unencrypted communications for conference attendees. The system is not secure and can be monitored by others.


Job Board
Employers can post job openings, and job seekers can post résumés on the SIGGRAPH 2003 Job Board in the registration area located in Exhibit Hall C. No other employment services are available at SIGGRAPH 2003.


Lost and Found
After the conference, all lost-and-found items will be turned over to the San Diego Convention Center security office. To inquire about lost items during and after the conference, call security at extension 5490. Lost registration badges can be claimed in Special Assistance: Exhibit Hall C.

Pick-up times and locations are available in the lobbies of conference hotels. The Town and Country Resort provides a complimentary five-day pass for the San Diego Trolley, which runs on a regular, frequent schedule from the resort to the convention center.

- No cameras or recording devices are permitted at SIGGRAPH 2003.
- SIGGRAPH 2003 may record all, or portions of, conference programs and events.

Technical Session Lounge
After each technical session, presenters and authors join attendees for continued discussion in a comfortable, informal lounge setting. The technical session lounge is located outside some of the presentation rooms.


Ticket Purchase and Exchange Counter
Electronic Theater Tickets
One ticket is included with each Full Conference and Conference Select registration. Additional tickets cost $50. Every attempt is made to accommodate your requested Electronic Theater show. If you want to exchange your ticket, go to the Ticket Purchase and Exchange Counter. Tickets are not available for every show. All Electronic Theater performances contain the same material.

Badged attendees may purchase up to two additional Electronic Theater tickets (subject to availability) at Onsite Registration beginning at 6 pm Saturday, 26 July. Last-minute tickets are generally available. They will be sold at the door to the Electronic Theater one hour prior to show time. All sales are final.

Reception Ticket
Reception tickets are also available at this counter. The cost is $25 per person. All sales are final.

Soma Media, Inc.
Exhibit Hall C Lobby and Room 20 Lobby
In partnership with ACM SIGGRAPH, Soma Media, Inc. is recording and producing an interactive DVD-ROM of most paper presentations, select courses, and the keynote address. The DVD-ROM includes over 50 hours of video synchronized with each speaker's PowerPoint slides and presentation materials. During the conference, attendees can order the DVD-ROM in the Soma Media booth (open during registration hours). After the conference, the DVD-ROM can be purchased through the ACM Order department (orders@acm.org or ACM SIGGRAPH.
